Great experience getting a second home!

Had a great overall experience working with the Pacaso team from start to end of the sales process. The staff was very responsive and communicative throughout.

Carmel Delight

We saw a gorgeous house online at Pacaso. We inquired about the property and got a call back promptly. Our Pacaso agent was in another part of the country, but despite that she flew to the property the next weekend to meet us there. She was helpful, concise, truthful and thoughtful about the property, the price and how Pacaso works. We were delighted with the house and with her work. She has followed through with every element along the way. We are delighted with the service and the new house.

All the benefits of a luxury second home without the headaches!

Pacaso has taken all the sting out of searching, buying, and managing a property. We have all the pleasures of enjoying a property without any of the hassles. Even my wife, who is an interior designer, was delighted not to have to do anything and the home exceeded her expectations. Pacaso made the whole process effortless and painless for us. We are also excited for the new swap feature, we think this will be transformative for the business

Our experience with Pacaso has been…

Our experience with Pacaso has been terrific. We had some learning curves throughout the process, which have been ironed out at this point. We, as the partial owner, have learned how to manage scheduling and organize our needs to make for an easy entrance and exit from the property.

Excited about our recent Purchase…

Excited about our recent Purchase through Pacaso. Geoff and Michael couldn't have been better to work with. Their inventory and options were amazing. The process was extremely smooth and efficient. Each member of the team we worked with was outstanding.

Bait and Switch

Initially we loved Pacaso. We loved our home and the staff was always responsive. Then after a year, they assessed each home owner approximately $8K as they didn't budget accurately. On top of that, they increased our monthly payment by 65%!! It's a real bait and switch where they lure you into ownership and then assess you a huge amount at the end of the year (no forewarning whatsoever), and then greatly increase your monthly fee. At a time when inflation is less than 4% how in the world can they justify a 65% increase?

Easy switch from one Pacaso to Another

I had a great place in Lake Tahoe and wanted a bigger house because my extended family has expanded. I really wanted 2 shares at the new house and Micha, my sales partner, and the team made it easy and seamless. My only complaint was not in my experience of this sale, but that now sometimes other Pacaso reps call and text me. From a client perspective, I really only want to work with one sales person. Happy with me new purchase(s)!

Full service and turnkey vacation home

Pacaso has a high quality bar. Our house has mostly Resotration Hardware furniture, and it has the feeling of a 5 star hotel. We love that our Pacaso is accessible for us, our families, parents and friends.

One of the awesome perks with our home is that we have access to clubhouse (with gyms, pools) and we get special amenities at Northstar ski resort. Having these amenities when you vacation is a huge plus.

Because of Pacaso, we’ve been able to have family reunions (that we've been trying to calendar for years) and bring new friend groups together.

We had a great stay but various things…

We had a great stay but various things were either under repair,backorder or in need of.
Soap/shampoo in master
fireplace jerry-rigged to operate
need squeegee for showers
window blinds not all working
no microwave
small table by master tub
the house is awesome,view incredible just need to bring it up to Pacaso standard

Our experience was good and the staff…

Our experience was good and the staff was very helpful. The only reason I did not give 5 starts is that we had much anxiety when we could not find dates for our new house until we found out that some dates were pre-blocked for new owners. If we had known this prior to closing, it would have caused us much less stress about our purchase. We recommend disclosing this to future owners before closing.

It’s not a timeshare — it’s my home

It's not until I take friends and family to my Pacaso that they truly appreciate the whole experience and value proposition. Pacaso does an excellent job of putting the house together in a way that a lot of designers don't. I love the size and the breathtaking views, and I can bring a lot of friends and family over to entertain. Now that we have the home, the kids feel compelled to come. We've had a lot of really cherished moments together.

Excellent sales process, straightforward answers

Outstanding patience with questions & straightforward answers through the sales process. We looked at a number of homes over 6+ months before moving forward. Very impressed with the members of the sales team that we worked with.

The legal structure is complex, but I think it makes sense for the shared ownership model they are creating. I had it reviewed by outside counsel who concluded that their documents were well thought out & drafted.

We haven't stayed at the house yet, but our initial interactions with the property manager have been great as well.

So Glad we joined Pacaso.

The purchase process was very streamlined, it was the most painless financing I’ve ever been a part of in a real estate transaction. The scheduling has been super easy, we’ve been able to get all the weeks we’ve wanted to get. We live close to our Pacaso so we’re able to take advantage of last-minute weekend trips when they’re available. Pacaso just made sense for us and helped us have access to an amazing vacation home without the risk of a short-term rental where local regulations might change.

Sales team especially Micah were…

Sales team especially Micah were exceptional, very helpful in explaining the Pacaso model and in dealing with the "waffling' that would come up with each of my family member's concerns. One suggestion on the paperwork side that might help future owners would be to provide an ongoing checklist and or timeline of the status of the signing process. Just how my mind works, if and when it decides to work. Thanks to all, Were really excited, thanks to you, Pablo.

We love our Pacaso

We love our Pacaso. We are 30 minutes from home but feel a world away. We arrive to an immaculate home, with every detail looked after. Fresh ocean breeze, 180 degree views of the Pacific, sounds of the waves, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, direct access to the beach….its a magical place for our family to spend time together and create memories.

Our new Napa home

Our family was looking into a vacation property.
We didn't need or want a 365 home.
What we did want is a large really nice home in a location that allowed us to lure friends and family to gather.
We didn't want the obligations associated with second homes either, such as management, upkeep, bills etc.
Pacaso offered exactly that

The entire experience was guided by…

The entire experience was guided by friendly knowledge and accommodating staff
We are excited to have a vacation home we never could have afforded on our own
We toured the place before buying and Sebastian met us and answered our questions and was a pleasure to deal with
Lana our escrow/document person was equally lovely and polite
Katie our host and concierge has been delightful, accessible and helpful.

Only critiques:
1. some costs were sprung on us on the end but those were waived
2. Some high season dates are allocated by Pacaso initially and then open again at different interval dates on the app -this was not exactly explained upfront
Again overall Pacaso makes the process easy and we are looking forward to our family vacations

Horrible experience with Pacaso Sales Rep

I was scheduled to have a call with your Sales Rep, Pete Weiss at 11:30 am PT.

He was late to the call (and that's fine) and then rather than doing a zoom call, he proposed doing facetime as he was at the airport. Now, while at the airport, while on a facetime with me, he was totally distracted, walking and looking all around, including placing his phone on the floor to tie his shoelaces.

His attention was everywhere except on the call and that left me completely dissatisfied with his answers and with his lackadaisical attitude.

I thought I would share my horrible experience with you as this is not the way to sell a multi-million dollar home.
