Incredible first experience

Our closing process was extremely smooth and fast. As part of the closing process we booked our first stay for October 6, the property manger met us at the home and gave us a personal tour of everything. So far Pacaso has far exceeded our expectations.

The team at Pacaso provided us a professional, fast and financially viable way to own not just any second home, but an absolute diamond!! Combine that with an app to book, a home manager to handle things when they come up… lovely.

Excellent staff...

For the most part, the experiences have been positive, staff have been very supportive. However, there is some areas for concern. For example, the list price was increased after I was quoted the initial price. And then, another amount was tagged on top of that, even though I was informed that was refundable at the time of resale.

Making our second home wishes possible

We purchased a share back in November 2020 up in St Helena and have had a wonderful experience. My wife and I love the model along with the support they provide in making it possible to own a fraction of a second home. The app is the secret sauce to making this type of co ownership possible since we all get a fair shot at reserving our allotted time including holidays. Our assigned manager is always responsive to any requests/needs to make our home better and we’ve never had a bad experience any time we’ve stayed up in the Napa/St Helena Area. Would highly recommend if you find the right home for you. I don’t see myself ever selling

We are pleased with our decision to…

We are pleased with our decision to purchase a unit in a house in Park City. A quality property in all respects, and essentially ski in ski out. We are anticipating year round use for our extended families. The process of investigating the property, the Pacaso approach,and acquiring the membership in the LLC was very quick and smooth. Our only concern is that the process for selecting the weeks is not transparent and there will be difficulty in obtaining days around the Christmas Holidays.

It’s almost like having a private hotel

I’ve been going to Tahoe once or twice a ski season, renting Airbnbs with my brother and his family. I thought it’d be great to have a vacation home, but it seemed like such a hassle. I think the Pacaso model solves a lot of that. Scheduling is one of the best things about our Pacaso so far. The app has been terrific. I’m a UX designer working in apps, and I appreciate all the built-in features. I find that I'm getting most of the dates I want. Being able to share home information with guests has been a nice addition. We’ve tried swapping dates recently and that totally worked out for us too. Plus, I love having a home manager — that kind of white-glove approach is terrific. The thing I love about my Pacaso is that it’s not only a beautiful home but it also becomes a gravitational pull to bring in friends and family to spend quality time together!

As a Pacaso homeowner

As a Pacaso homeowner, the experience has been fantastic. Purchase experience is seamless, and with their financing option, was totally hassle free. I’ve owned for nearly two years and we’ve always been pleased with our ability to get access the the house, as well as the condition of the property when we arrive. All in all, it’s been a very positive experience. Would highly recommend it!

so far awful

so far, just awful. the booking system is an absolute disaster with no ability to get the 44 days a year I was promised. It’s confusing and clunky. Why can we only get mid week dates? Why am I only entitled to the dates that my seller had booked? no on ever explained use prior. Obviously more homeowners getting more than 44 days a year. They game the system, book 6 days, and stay the 1 extra. No summer dates. We still have gotten our locker. This time house was a mess and then no hot water. Worse yet, impossible to speak with anyone on the team other than the house rep who seems to change monthly. Just a very disappointing experience for everyone and I want out. Would not recommend to anyone - be very careful with this.

Purchasing our second home with Pacaso

The process of purchasing our first Pacaso home was fast and easy. While it was a phenomenal house, it wasn't the perfect fit for our family with three kids. We were able to use the transfer program and it couldn't have been easier to switch houses. Now we’re in a home that’s a much better fit for our family.

Our home manager has been nothing short of amazing. She's not just a manager but a friend, going the extra mile to make our guests feel at home when we can't be there.

Pacaso has truly been a game-changer. It just makes sense for us. It has forced us to take meaningful vacations together as a family. We're invested in this house for the long term, envisioning years of enjoyment and even the possibility of future generations creating memories here. It's the perfect fit for where we are in life right now, and I have zero regrets about our Pacaso investment.

Exceeded expectations!

Great experience. This was my very first stay and I am very impressed with cleanliness of home and attention to detail. There are certain items we are waiting on (like a bed in lower room and window treatments) but if it is this good now I can’t wait when house has all the amenities. The furniture and decor is excellent quality and taste. Ramon the home manager was very attentive as well as Terry who sold me the home. Great team all around and beautiful home, location and overall experience.

Overpromised and underdelivered

There was a lot of overpromise when they were selling us and a very poor delivery. Thing promissed from occupation dates canceled twice and still not ready without a final date, we were promised also to be part of decoration and furnished, didnt happen either, were trying to install bigger bins for storage, didnt happen either and so on….

Wonderful experience

Wonderful experience. Lindsey was top-notch and went way above and beyond for us. She responded immediately when we lost power and was there for us for every step. We are loving our new place and so excited to come back!

As soon as I walked into my Pacaso…

As soon as I walked into my Pacaso, I knew it was the right decision. The first time my family visited, a cousin said “You do realize this is the house now that we're all coming to whenever we gather” which I think is amazing. I’ve loved getting to know my neighbors, it really feels like you’re part of the community. For me, Pacaso has been a great way to have home ownership in a place I love, that I get to go back to over and over gain.

BOOKING ERROR

There was a MIX UP ON PACASO'S PART WHEN BOOKING MY FIRST STAY. IT WAS HANDLED AFTER ME MAKING A BIG SCENE BUT WITHOUT MUCH APOLOGY OR COMMUNICATION. I FELT LIKE THERE WAS NO ONE WHO WAS REALLY IN CHARGE OF THEIR ERROR. Otherwise, everything and everyone was lovely.

I purchased a home in Tahoe in Dec

I purchased a home in Tahoe in Dec. The purchase process was fine , all the team members were accommodating. The house is beautiful and I was very excited about my purchase until two months later a flood of purchase demands from other owners starting coming in. After our second stay we received an email from the house manager stating 6 out of 8 owners voted to install an $18,000 awning. Why the Pacaso team did not suggest less expensive options before jumping to an 18K awning still floors me. The management team should be doing some damage control, not running to spend owner money. We are not allowed to see how other owners vote or if they actually voted. This is all controlled by Pacaso. We were never provided with an estimate or a bill, just an email stating we each owe around $2000. I have asked numerous times for an estimate and now a bill. I have received neither. Since the request for the patio shade there have been numerous other purchase requests by the other owners. Luckily they were not all approved. Instead of feeling like a home owner, I feel as though Pacaso controls my home and dictates what I do.

As simple as you can expect it to be

The whole buying process from start to finish was so smooth. No hassles whatsoever and enough support to help explain everything and with onboarding till the first stay. Now, I am looking forward to a lot more stays.
